I lean in to kiss her again, but stop when her phone goes off. “Ignore it,” I whisper.
“I plan to.” She pulls me closer between her legs and reaches her hand down in between us to rub my cock.
I throw my head back and grip her hair tighter, so damn turned on by her touch. “Undo my pants, Rile.”
Without hesitation she starts to undo my pants, but her phone goes off again, causing us both to freeze.
“Dammit,” she mumbles. “I’m sorry. Let me turn it on silent.”
I stand patiently as she pulls out her phone and unlocks the screen to silence it. The pained look on her face tells me who it is and the moment shatters on the spot.
She awkwardly clears her throat and turns her phone on vibrate. “Well that kind of kills the moment. I’m so sorry.” Her whole mood has changed and now I feel as if comforting her has become my priority. Riley has a big heart and I’d be stupid not to know how this moment is affecting her.
I pull her chin up and gently kiss her lips. “It’s okay, Rile.” I rub my thumb over her bottom lip. “Let’s go inside and I’ll make us a late night snack before bed. “Sound good?”
She nods her head, ashamed, and runs her hands through my hair. “Thank you, Cale. I just want this moment to be the two of us. I don’t want any hint of Tyler in the back of my mind.”
I kiss her again, letting her know that I’m okay with it. “You can’t just shut your feelings off, Rile; I know that and I don’t expect it. This won’t be our last opportunity. Trust me.”
She smiles as I help her out of my truck and guide her to the front door.
I definitely want her mind to be focused on just me once I’m burying myself between her sweet thighs. It will happen soon.
Just not tonight . . . tonight she knows how much I care about her.
IT’S BEEN TWO DAYS SINCE I received those missed calls from Tyler and I respect with everything in me that Cale has given me some space in case I wanted to call him back. I thought long and hard about it, and then decided against it. He broke my heart when he decided just two days before we were to leave that he didn’t want to be a part of the plans. Why should I call him back? He’s the one that didn’t care enough. He didn’t even come to say goodbye the day that I left.
Cale and I are sitting on his couch watching hilarious prank shows and snacking on popcorn, and right now . . . that’s all that matters. He’s been able to keep a smile on my face throughout the pain that I thought I’d be feeling when I got home, and he’s had my back through everything. I’m here and I’m focused on the now. Tyler is no longer clouding my thoughts and I want Cale to see that.
Setting the bowl of popcorn aside, I straddle Cale’s lap and gently kiss him on the lips. His lips are so soft and delicious that I unconsciously lick them before pulling away. I swear that I could kiss him all day and never grow tired of those lips. I’ve waited too long to not take advantage now.
“Damn, Rile.” Cale squeezes my hips before moving down to my thighs, while running his tongue over his lips. “What are you trying to do to me? Are you trying to get me naked, because it won’t take much more of that.”
I lean my head back and moan as he buries his face into my neck and roughly kisses it, pushing me down onto his lap. “See what you’re doing, Rile? You feel that?” I still can’t seem to get over feeling his dick against me. It’s so damn big and hard . . . and I want it, every inch of it . . . of Cale. My Cale.
He starts grinding below me, rubbing his hardness between my legs. “Yes,” I breathe. “God . . . yes . . .” Just the thought of him being inside me makes me break into a sweat. It still amazes me how turned on I get with Cale. It’s overwhelming.
After not feeling him touch me for two days, I feel like I could orgasm just from the feel of his tongue alone. That’s how good this man is and I have a feeling that he knows it. He may be a virgin . . . but the rest of his body isn’t . . . far from it.
“I want to take you somewhere, Rile.” He runs his lips up my neck and stops at my ear. “Will you come with me?”
I swallow hard from his words. He just had to use the word come. “Cale . . . it’s like two in the morning. Isn’t it a bit late to take me somewhere?”
He laughs against my neck and squeezes my hips, lifting me from his lap. “It’s never too late, Rile.” Standing up, he reaches for my hand and pulls me into his chest. His hands tangle in my hair as he runs his tongue up my lips, tasting me. “Fucking delicious, baby.”
Smiling, he walks toward the door, picking up his keys on the way out. I follow behind him, curious to where it is that he wants to take me so late at night. I have no clue where he wants to go, but truthfully I’d go anywhere with Cale. I always did in the past, including late night trips . . . but we were just kids then. Sneaking out late at night was in. We’re definitely not kids anymore and don’t need to sneak out to hang out.
I’m so anxious when we get into Cale’s truck that I can’t stop looking out the window, trying to figure out where he’s taking me. It takes me a good five minutes to figure it out.
“Cale . . .” I sit up straight and look out the window. “Are you taking me to your old house?”
He smirks and pulls off to the side of the road, killing the engine on his truck. “I thought a late night dip sounded good. You know . . . pick up where we left off six years ago.”
I sit still as Cale jumps out of the truck and jogs over to my side, opening my door. “But didn’t your parents move out like five years ago?”
Laughing, he reaches into the truck and pulls me out, onto my feet. “Yeah, they did.” He shuts the door behind me, and then starts pulling me through the grass, toward the back of his old house.
“What?” I look around me, nervous that someone will see us, possibly resulting in cops. “We can’t just swim in some stranger’s pool, Cale. What if someone catches us?”
He stops and picks me up, wrapping my legs around his waist. As soon as his lips meet mine, all worries seem to disappear. All that exists is Cale and I. Right now I could care less about the consequences.
Walking through the grass, he somehow manages to keep his lips on mine until we’re both sinking into the deep water.
The water is cold at first, a shocker, but as soon as Cale pulls me into his arms . . . he’s all that matters. My body is slightly shivering as he swims us toward the side. It reminds me of the last time we were here: the night that I left.
