“Liar,” I whispered up at him.
“Never a truer word has been spoken.” His eyes lost focus for a moment, and I wondered what he was thinking about. “I really think you’re someone special, Bianca London.” His voice was husky as he spoke. “If I was a different sort of man, I’d be telling you I wasn’t worthy of you right now.”
“We don’t have to do this now.” I reached up and ran my hands down his chest.
“I just wanted you to know that I wasn’t expecting to meet anyone like you. I wasn’t expecting to feel like this.” He sighed. “And it doesn’t change anything.”
“It’s okay, Jakob. I’m not asking for a declaration of love.” I leaned up and pulled him down and kissed him. “We can take it slow. See how it goes.”
“You’re too perfect for me.” He groaned as my hands pulled his ass down toward me. “Or maybe you’re a devil, like me.” His hand reached down to my hips, and he lowered himself down on top of me. “You win.” He growled as he guided his cock to my opening. “I can’t resist you any longer.” He kissed me again, and I felt his tongue entering my mouth at the same time his cock thrust into me.
“I could fuck you all day and night.” He grunted as he thrust in and out of me. “I swear your pussy was made for my cock.” His voice was hoarse as my pussy walls constricted on him. “You’re so wet,” he whispered in my ear.
“And you’re so hard.” I moaned as he increased his pace.
“That’s what you do to me.” He pulled out of me and then grabbed my legs and pulled them up to his shoulders. “Hold on tight.” He grinned before he slammed into me again. I cried out in pleasure as his thumb rubbed my clit as he thrust into me. I could tell that he was close to coming, because his breathing was heavy and his thrusts were becoming more and more urgent.
“I’m going to come!” I screamed as I climaxed. My whole body shook as Jakob gripped my legs and orgasmed inside of me as well. He collapsed down on the bed next to me and kissed my cheek before lying flat on his back. We lay there side by side trying to recover from our amazing experience, and I smiled to myself at how good my body felt when we made love.
“I forgot about the condom.” He rolled over and gave me a serious look.
“It’s okay, I forgot as well.” I turned toward him and bit my lip. “It’s not your fault.”
“I’ll buy some condoms tomorrow.” He ran his fingers across my face. “And if you get pregnant I’ll be there for you.”
“It’ll be fine.” I smiled at him and then yawned.
“You’re tired.” He jumped off the bed and pulled the sheets down. “We should sleep.”
“I should call Rosie.” I sat up, but he shook his head.
“It can wait until tomorrow.” He picked me up as if I were as light as a feather and placed me on the clean sheets. “Tonight we sleep.” He got into the bed beside me and pulled me into his arms.
“I think I can agree to that.” I snuggled up next to him and laid my head against his chest. “I need to shower in the morning as well.”
“We’ll shower together.” He kissed the top of my forehead, and I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
I rubbed my eyes and stretched under the sheets. It felt weird to be lying in a proper bed now. Part of me missed the island, but I was happy to be gone. I looked over to the other side of the bed, disappointed to see that Jakob wasn’t next to me. I glanced at the clock on the nightstand next to me and frowned. It was only 4:00 a.m. I yawned and wondered where Jakob was, and I realized that the light in the living room was on. I got out of bed to go make sure everything was okay, but as I reached the door, I heard voices.
I paused, since I didn’t want to interrupt him, but who was here at 4:00 a.m.? I bit my lower lip and pressed my ear to the door.
“How’s Steve, sir?”
“He’s alive.” Jakob’s voice was angry, and I shivered as I thought back to how the scariness of the day before. I’d been so frightened, but I’d known in my heart and soul that Jakob was the one I could trust. “He deviated from the plan,” Jakob continued, and I froze. What plan?
“I’m sorry, sir, I’m not sure what went wrong. Billy is friends with him. I’m sure he can find out when he regains consciousness.”
“He’s lucky I didn’t kill him for going rogue.” Jakob spoke again with a menacing voice.
“I know, sir.” The other voice spoke again, and I realized it sounded familiar. I racked my brain trying to think where I knew the voice from. And then I remembered. The blood drained from my face as I realized the man talking to Jakob was the same one who’d worn the mask and pointed the gun at me when I’d been kidnapped. “Did you at least get what you needed on the island, Mr. Bradley?”
“Almost,” Jakob replied, and I ran back to the bed.
Jakob was the one who’d kidnapped me. He had set the whole thing up! He had known Steve the whole time. He had purposely put Steve on the island with us. But why?
I ran to the bathroom and locked the door, shivering with fright. Why had the man called Jakob Mr. Bradley? I swallowed as I thought back to the beginning. I’d been set up from the start. I looked around the bathroom and spied a phone. Thank goodness for new high-tech hotels. I picked it up and decided to call David. He was the only one who could answer the questions I had.
